Copycat Chili's Skillet Queso

It’s time for another week of copycat recipes! Last year’s group of copycat recipes did so well I HAD to do it again. Who doesn’t love a good copycat restaurant recipe?!

I come from a family of chips and queso eaters. If we’re at a restaurant with chips and queso on the menu, we order it. One of our very favorites is the chips and queso appetizer at Chili’s. And I’m so excited that we can eat it whenever we darn well please right in our very own kitchen! And it’s so easy, too.

Copycat Chili's Skillet QuesoThis recipe requires three ingredients and a crock pot. That. Is. It. It’s pretty much the perfect recipe.

Copycat Chili's Skillet QuesoThis is a perfect dip for a party. Make it in the crock pot and keep it warm to serve. Everyone will love it!

We do this with cream cheese instead of Velveeta and add some cajun seasoning. YUM!

Linda, I’m so sorry to hear that! This is the first negative comment I’ve gotten on this recipe. Can I ask what it was that you didn’t like? Flavor? Texture? Thank you for leaving your comment and letting me know.

This recipe is so yummy and makes quite a bit! I was a bit worried while cooking it because it was really runny, but it thickens up once you take it off the burner. 🙂
