I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Holiday treats are the best! There’s something so fun and exciting about eating a treat that looks likes a holiday.
When it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, Lucky Charms cereal seems to be my go-to item to make St. Patrick’s Day treats. {Scroll to the bottom for other St. Patrick’s Day treat ideas using Lucky Charms!} It’s sweet, it’s bright and fun, and its mascot is a leprechaun. Sounds pretty perfect to me!
This is a really easy way to make a fun and festive cupcake for St. Patrick’s Day. I love the way the cereal tastes with the rest of the cupcake!
St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes
  • white cake mix
  • 2 cans white frosting, for piping (use 1 can for spreading frosting)
  • St. Patrick’s Day green sprinkles
  • Lucky Charms cereal
  • 24 green cupcake liners

Prepare cake mix as directly. Place cupcake liners in a muffin tin and evenly distribute cake mix to make 24 cupcakes. Bake according to directions on the box.

Allow cupcakes to cool. Frost the cupcakes and immediately add sprinkles. Then place Lucky Charms cereal pieces on each cupcake. Enjoy!
