Who knew that cereal could be the perfect ingredient for a chicken dish? Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal holds the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch to coat chicken tenders. A great family meal!
Last week I did a little shopping at Walgreens and picked up some Post brand cereal. My husband loves eating a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats in the morning before he heads out to work. I bought a couple varieties of the cereal and decided to use our favorite Crunchy Honey Roasted Honey Bunches of Oats for what would be one of my kids’ new favorite meals.
I love the sweetness of the honey in this cereal and the extra bit of crunchiness. I thought it would be so good to coat our chicken with it for our dinner!
And because I used Honey Bunches of Oats, I was able to make a heart healthy recipe for my family. Perfect for American Heart Month!
Post cereals are great for creating heart healthy recipes. I can’t wait to get my creativity on and make another new heart healthy recipe! You can find Post cereals (Honey Bunches of Oats, Fruity Pebbles, Grape Nuts, Great Grains) at your local Walgreens.
