Waffle Breakfast Pizzas are the perfect way to start the day! The family will love these crispy waffles topped with maple butter and breakfast favorites.
Can you believe we’re already getting into back-to-school time again? We are on a year-round track system so my kids started school last week. We had a nice seven-week break and then it was back to the books! My kids were really excited for third and first grade, and I was excited too, let’s be honest. haha My boys love waking up and having breakfast before they head off to school. When I made these Waffle Breakfast Pizzas with Maple Butter for the first time, they were over the moon! They thought a breakfast pizza on a waffle was pretty much the best thing ever.
What is Breakfast Pizza?
Breakfast pizzas are pizzas loaded with your favorite breakfast foods, like eggs and bacon. In this case I have used Kellogg’s Eggo waffles for the crust, which add even more awesome flavor to the pizzas (Sign up for ibotta and earn money back on the purchase of Eggo variety! While supplies last.) Most breakfast pizzas don’t have a sauce, but I have changed that with a super yummy and creamy maple butter. We add the maple butter right after the waffles come out of the toaster so it will get nice and melted. It’s crazy good with all the breakfast toppings!
Walmart Online Grocery Pickup
I chose Kellogg’s Eggo Buttermilk waffles and Kellogg’s Eggo Homestyle waffles for these breakfast pizzas and I purchased them through Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup service. I’m such a huge fan of this service! First of all, I love being able to add all my groceries to an online cart and take my time without the stress of bringing all the kids to the grocery store. Above all, it’s so easy to use!
To top off the amazingness that is online grocery shopping, they bring all your groceries out to you. All you have to do is pull up in one of the designated parking stalls and they bring the groceries right out and put them in your car. It’s the best! I was able to get all the ingredients for our Waffle Breakfast Pizzas with Maple Butter through the Walmart Online Grocery Pickup.
Waffle Breakfast Pizzas with Maple Butter are a great way to help your family start their day. They’re easy to make, filling, and so tasty! We used scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon for our pizzas, but there are so many other tasty options too. Sausage, green peppers, or an over-easy egg would also be so good!
