Cupcake Diaries
If you’re planning a Doc McStuffins birthday party, I’ve got the perfect dessert to serve! This cupcake is super easy AND it comes with an extremely FREE cupcake topper! Can’t beat that!
My son and I made these cupcakes together and it was so fun. First, I got a good laugh when I was putting the cake mix in the mixing bowl and could hear the Doc McStuffins theme song playing the other room. It happened to come on just as we were starting the cupcakes. Pretty great timing!
To make these cupcakes, simply bake your favorite chocolate cupcakes in white liners, frost with Pillsbury’s new Funfetti Bold Purple Vanilla frosting, and add white sprinkles. Easy!
Have you seen the new bold colored frosting from Pillsbury? A few weeks ago I saw the commercial for these new frosting colors and my heart sang a song. This purple is the perfect color for Doc McStuffins cupcakes! You don’t even have to bother trying to color frosting with food coloring. It’s all ready for you in one can.

Print out these cute Doc McStuffins cupcake toppers for an added pop of fun! Tape toppers to sucker sticks (found in cake decorating section at Walmart and party supply stores like Zurchers) and insert into the tops of the cupcakes.
(To cut out toppers, use a 2″ scallop punch or 1 3/4 – 2″ round punch. Or you can cut all the way around the toppers with scissors like I did above.)
Characters on toppers include:
  • Doc
  • Lambie the lamb
  • Chilly the snowman
  • Hallie the hippo
  • Stuffy the dragon
  • plus one topper featuring all five characters
