Simple Mickey Mouse Birthday Party + FREE Subway Art Printable

As much as we see it all over the web, a birthday party doesn’t need to take a lot of work to look super cute. Sometimes it’s nice to just make things simple. And a whole lot less stressful! Last weekend we celebrated my sweet little nephew’s first birthday. He loves Mickey Mouse so much, so naturally my twin chose a Mickey Mouse theme for her little Tayen’s party. I made her invitations as well as a Mickey Mouse-colored subway art (scroll down for a FREE download!).

This is the invitation I made for the party:
My sister was able to create a really cute birthday party with just a few simple touches:
  • Mickey balloon and three colored balloons from Zurchers
  • Mickey plates with yellow napkins and red solo cups, also from Zurchers
  • Red table cloth from Zurchers
  • Cupcake holder from Walmart
  • Subway art available for free download below! She put hers in a black 8×10 frame she already had. It looked so cute!
These cupcakes were also super simple yet so fun for a Mickey party.
  • One yellow cake mix with a container of chocolate frosting made these delicious cupcakes into the perfect colors for the party!
  • Polka dot cupcake liners from Zurchers
  • Yellow sprinkles from Zurchers
I love adding a little bit of color and decor to a birthday party with subway art.
I made this birthday subway art in Mickey Mouse colors specially for this party.
My sister used the white one, but there is also a black option!

My eldest son turned 40 in February. We had a Mickey party for him when he turned four. We had Pin the Nose on Mickey and Mickey’s Fishing Pond and a Mickey treasure hunt. This brings back lots of memories. Thanks!

Hi Clarissa! The subway art can be used for all ages. You could use the one and it would work perfectly for both kids!
