Creamy Tomato and Tortellini Soup

Servings 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 cans 10.75oz condensed tomato soup
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 8oz jar julienne sundried tomatoes, oil drained and roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 20 oz package refrigerated cheese tortellini

Instructions

  • Combine tomato soup, heavy cream, chicken broth, milk, tomatoes, basil, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large pot about one hour before serving. Heat over low heat to simmer.
  • Cook tortellini in boiling water for 7 minutes. Drain and carefully add to soup. Stir and allow to simmer and heat through until ready to serve.
