A Quick Little Giveaway!

I found this the other day and thought it should be part of a giveaway this year:

It is the Debbie Mumm "Old-Fashioned Holiday Recipes" cookbook and it is so fun! I had to get this for someone. Since Christmas is coming up soon I wanted to hurry and give this away. This giveaway will last just a couple of days this time so I can get it out before Christmas.
...
To enter:
  • Tell me your name and where you're from.
  • Then tell me about something you'll be making for the holidays, whether it be for a party or a treat for the neighbors.
A winner will be drawn on Thursday, December 16!
And thanks for participating! I appreciate all of my followers and the comments I get about this blog. I love you all!

  1. Greetings! My name is Amber Miles and I'm from Idaho Falls, Idaho. This year I will be making "Scotcheroos" for a few of my neighbors and hopefully for a few parties coming up. Scotcheroos are rice crispy treats with chocolate and butterscotch chips melted on top. Oh and I can't forget the peanut butter mixed in with the crispies!! It's quite a delicious treat! If I had time, I thought about making holiday cupcakes from my "Hello Cupcake" book. I guess we'll see!! Merry Christmas!

  6. Hi, my name is Becky, and I live in the best neighborhood in the world! I don't see us ever leaving Idaho, either! Today I made apple butter and, hopefully, tomorrow I am going to make some peanut brittle. I made it for the first time last year, and really loved it! It was hot pulling it, and my fingers hurt for a couple hours, but it was SO WORTH IT!

  13. Rachel from Pocatello (though I'll be in IF from Monday on). I'm going to make pretzels with a rolo melted on top. All you do is place the pretzels on a cookie sheet, put the Rolo on top and bake it on 200 until it's melted over it. Top it off with a m&m or some colorful candy.
